Who we are

At AEB, we use intuitive software to enable efficient, secure, environmentally friendly, and fair supply chains. More than 7,000 companies in over 80 countries find this so compelling that they rely on our IT solutions for foreign trade, customs, export control, and logistics.

With us, you get the freedom and open structures to really make a difference – and a working environment that ensures you can achieve your best.

What you can achieve with us

As an IT Project Manager for Origin & Preferences, you will support our clients from the initial concept to the successful go-live of our Origin & Preferences solution. You will analyze processes, lead workshops, develop suitable solutions together with the client, and coordinate implementation.

In this role, you'll combine expertise in international trade with project management, process consulting, and SAP integration. Together, we'll make documentation management, supplier declarations, and preferential calculations more efficient, transparent, and legally compliant. Specifically, this means for you:

  • You will be responsible for leading and managing implementation projects in the area of origin of goods & preferences – for SAP and non-SAP solutions, with a focus on time, budget, quality and customer benefit.
  • Together with our clients, you will analyze existing processes and develop tailored target processes.
  • You will independently plan and moderate workshops for process mapping, requirements analysis and software implementation.
  • You will support our customers during testing, training, project coordination and until successful go-live.
  • You record project results in a structured way – for example in status reports, project logs, meeting minutes or implementation concepts.

What experiences and skills will help you

  • SAP is not new territory for you and ideally you have experience in foreign trade – especially in the areas of import, export and rules of origin & preferences.
  • You find legal regulations and international free trade agreements exciting, or you have already familiarized yourself well with this field.
  • You have already accompanied or managed projects and are comfortable working with classic and/or agile project management models.
  • Complex questions pique your curiosity and you enjoy understanding connections and developing solutions.
  • You are enthusiastic about new technologies – especially the possibilities of AI – and you approach new topics openly and pragmatically.
  • You communicate easily, you have a confident manner and enjoy working with different people.
  • You enjoy taking on responsibility and you are eager to develop yourself further and actively make a difference.

What our employees appreciate about us

A good working environment is very important to us. You can (and should) take the freedom to shape your work in a way that suits you and your strengths. Specifically, this means you'll receive support for your professional and personal development. In addition, there are benefits such as:

  • Flexible working hours
  • Job ticket subsidy: 80% coverage of the Germany Ticket
  • Space for further education
  • Services for physical and mental health (EGYM Wellpass, Instahelp, etc.)
